I had hoped to venture out today, but with rain poring down, as if I were back home in Portland, I stayed inside for the majority of the day. With me recovering from a mini cold (which ended up with me loosing my voice over the weekend) I thought it was best to avoid getting drenched and relax.

One thing that has stood out along my travels here in Oz has been the flora.
Having spent quite a bit of time in the tropical north in Queensland, I was exposed to a vast variety of tropical plants that I could not take my eye off. They made each view beautiful and offered amazing fragrances.

My love of plants may be why I have enjoyed going to the Botanical Gardens in each city I have visited...my next search for plants will be in Byron Bay...
